One of the most lauded and celebrated actresses of her generation in her native country of Brazil, Dira Paes has proven time and again to be an actress willing to take big risks that reap bigger rewards! The busty brunette beauty was born in the summer of ’69, the best possible time to be born if you’re gonna end up on Mr. Skin, and though she’s already blown past her fiftieth birthday, we have to say Dira’s absolutely sexier than ever! Her screen debut came as a teenager in John Boorman’s film The Emerald Forest (1985), playing one of the native girls! Dira’s career was off and running however, with her landing a number of iconic roles throughout the 90s, including as Celeste on the beloved miniseries Dona Flor and Her 2 Husbands (1998). The new millennium brought new opportunities for Dira to show her many talents, landing her first of a whopping 13 Cinema Brazil Grand Prize award nominations for the film O Casamento de Louise (2001)! Dira turned out to be something of a bridesmaid at the ceremony, however, going home empty handed a dozen times and winning only once for À Beira do Caminho (2012)! Dira began to conquer the television landscape around this time, landing leading roles on such series as Brave Women, Doomed, The Party, and Old River all between 2013 and 2016! In 2019, Dira took her biggest leap yet making her nude debut in Divine Love (2019)!
